The Position

Title: SAS Programmer (US)
Location: Norcross, GA – Corporate Headquarters
Reports to: John Jelinek, Chief Risk Officer

In this newly created role, the SAS Programmer will play a key role in developing our analytical capabilities in Risk and Fraud for our commercial fuel card portfolio. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Designing and devloping standard software and data structures
  • Developing and executing statistical programs designed to analyze commercial card portfolios
  • Working on cross functional teams to ensure programming / reporting needs are met
  • Productionalizing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as well as developing ad hoc reporting as necessary

Experience and Education

The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:

  • BA strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of SAS programming experience experience
  • Intermediate / Expert knowledge of data steps, SQL and macro programming
  • Proven track record of solid documentation / data flow skills
  • Expert knowledge of Excel

Personal Qualifications
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects, with changing priorities, in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize work
  • Ability to work independently on projects and drive to a desired outcome

The Senior SAS programmer will provide statistical programming technical leadership and support to Data Management. This individual will participate in the design, development, and quality control process for SAS programs used to access, extract, transform, review, analyze, and submit clinical data for phase ll studies. - Codes complex SAS programs for applications designed to analyze and report complex clinical trial data and for electronic review, exchange, transformation, and submission of data in CDlSC SDTM format. Marketing Analytics Consultant (Atlanta, GA)

SUMMARY:

Growing Marketing Analytics firm seeking an experienced consultant to work with clients to identify and develop solutions to marketing problems. The Marketing Analytics Consultant will be responsible for creating and implementing advanced analytical approaches to enhance profitability and optimize amount and mix of spending on marketing activities.

The right candidate has a mix of analytical and consultative skills – possesses strong SAS skills, understands the value proposition of data mining and analytical methods, and has experience in measuring marketing ROI and optimizing marketing spend across media types and customers. To be successful the consultant must have a strong work ethic and a “nothing is beneath me” attitude.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research and develop analytical solutions to solve marketing problems, including customer targeting for marketing campaigns, loyalty/retention, customer segmentation, marketing mix, marketing optimization, marketing ROI measurement, and customer satisfaction measurement.

Consult heavily with business users to ensure that analytical solutions are tailored to business needs and will support or result in actionable customer strategies; participate in implementing solutions.

Use information design concepts and principles to create effective presentations and other visuals that convey analytical results clearly and effectively, present results to clients.

Approximately 25 percent of this position involves client interaction, 75 percent involves statistical and econometric analysis. Willingness to be hands on is a must.

Enhance value of analytical solutions through demonstrating to clients the usefulness of solutions, through measurement, and consulting to enable client to better leverage solutions.

PRACTICAL WORK EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred disciplines of study include Economics/Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Finance or Mathematics. Also considered is a Business Administration, Marketing or Management degree with a strong quantitative focus.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
