Our client is looking for a seasoned SAS professional who will be responsible for the direct line management of multiple SAS Sr. Managers/Managers. You will also oversee high-level strategic initiatives as well as cross functional management. This position will run across multiple therapeutic areas and consists of new compounds. This includes a double digit bonus and top-tier benefits including: 100% tuition reimbursement, a generous 401(k), and exceptional on-site facilities/perks including Child Care, Staff Training, Fitness Center, etc. Responsibilities, Challenges, Expectations and Deliverables for this position » In a nutshell, will be responsible for the direct line management of multiple SAS Sr. Managers/Managers while also overseeing high-level strategic initiatives as well as cross functional management. » Resource and timeline management within your functional group. » Responsible for communicating strategy and decisions to the overall team. » Implementation and review of functional guidelines, policies, SOPs, etc. » Provide line management with activities and critical issue summaries. » Determination of standard software development and validation. » Ensure that appropriate programming support is made available. » Cross-functional management with Regulatory Affairs, Project Management, Informatics, etc. » Maintain relationships with affiliate companies, consultants/contractors, etc. » Assess need for external support and negotiates technical aspects of contracts. » Reviews progress and quality of contracted tasks. » Maintain familiarity with regulatory authority guidelines relating to biostatistics, data reporting and medical issues in project areas. » Establish, participate in and contribute to internal training programs. Experiences, Skills, Accomplishments and Qualities Desired: » PhD or MS in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related area. » 5-10 years of pharmaceutical industry Biostatistics/SAS programming experience. » Line management experience is required. » Working knowledge of global clinical research and drug development.
