Business Intelligence Analyst - Burbery (NY, NY)

  • Own & oversee all aspects of business intelligence (data collection, date integrity, systems, data analysis) relevant to business
  • Provide useful insights gained from analytics to the decision making process, to drive execution and business optimization
  • Develop expert knowledge of all internal data collection software & business intelligence solutions, issues & challenges
  • Develop close working relationship with various functions handling business & customer data
  • Using Statistical analysis & Data mining tools perform demographic analysis, customer information analysis and business information analysis to identify business patterns, market gaps & opportunities
  • Create reports to provide valuable, relevant business insights and analytics to various departments
  • Periodic presentations to senior management of analysis, insights and solutions
The Person
  • Candidates must have 3-5 years experience with data mining / quantitative analysis in a corporate or professional (government, non-profit)
  • Experience with some Statistical / Analytical Software (SPSS, STADA, SAS) is a must
  • Ideal candidate would have intermediate to expert knowledge of ArcGIS Business Analyst, and some experience applying ArcGIS in a corporate or any professional setting
  • Academic degrees in Statistics / Quantitative methods from top Universities is a plus
  • Knowledge/experience with retail business (real estate, merchandising, finance, etc) is a major plus
  • Self-starter with a lot of energy
