Summary

SAS programming experience is required. Experience in clinical data, health research, technical writing experience, data management and statistical analysis is a plus.

HealthCore, Inc., a health services research firm headquartered in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a Research Analyst or Senior Research Analyst with experience in epidemiology and biostatistics to join our dynamic company.   • Performing safety surveillance, risk management, and pharmacoepidemiology research activities under the direction of senior staff;
  • Supporting research activities in statistical analyses, statistical expertise, reporting and communication of results;
  • Contributing to the development of proposals, protocols, and statistical analysis plans;
  • Conducting review of administrative claims data and statistical output to ensure accuracy of results;

Qualifications This position requires a masters or doctoral level degree or relevant education and/or equivalent training in health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field. Manager, Program Management Statistical Analysis - Asurion (Nashville, TN)

This role will lead the detailed statistical analysis of subscriber claims behavior. The insight from this analysis will be used to drive decisions on pricing, program design and financial planning. In order to do this, the position will create and statistically analyze large data sets of internal and external data and communicate the results across the organization in a way that drives the organization to action.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop analytic programming and manipulate and analyze large datasets using advanced statistical software packages and advanced analytic features of Access and Excel
  • Work across various business units to build large-scale, multi-variable databases
  • Identify statistical analysis techniques (e.g. cluster analysis, time series, multi-variable regression, etc.) required to deliver insight on key strategic questions
