Biostatisticians - Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (Los Angeles, CA)
Description Applications are being accepted for masters-degree level full-time biostatistics positions, effective immediately. The successful applicants will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of biostatisticians, epidemiologists, basic scientists, geneticists, and clinicians at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to further research efforts at the Cancer Institute and in other departments. Responsibilities include: •collaboration and consultation with faculty on design and development of research projects, •data management and statistical analysis for current research projects; and •preparation of reports and manuscripts. Requirements Applicants must have a master’s degree in biostatistics or a statistics-related discipline; strong data analysis and programming skills; proficiency in SAS and/or other statistical software such as R, STATA, S-PLUS; and experience in analysis of clinical trial and laboratory data. Experience analyzing cancer-related data and genetic association studies is desirable but not required - opportunities exist for collaborations in other disease areas.
