Business Problem Solving with Advanced Analytics – Project Basis

Looking for an energetic quantitative problem solver to work with our consulting team to develop thoughtful business insights and solutions. We are a small, boutique consulting firm that works with the senior management of small to mid-size companies at the intersection of strategy and tactics. Most of our clients have had no or limited exposure to advanced analytics. As a result, there is tremendous opportunity to add value through highly quantitative issue identification and solution development. Your role is to supplement our team of experienced consultants with the analytic firepower to shape the analytic approach, synthesize the results of these efforts, and lead solution development. Initially, this role is on a project basis, but could develop into a full-time position as the business develops. Desirable qualifications:

• M.S. in statistics, applied statistics or related field;
• Aptitude for quantitative problem-solving and experience in data analysis;
• Ability to extract, transform and process complex data sets through experience working with data mining tools like SPSS, SAS, R, etc.;
• Interest in applying quantitative skills to a wide variety of business problems;
• Desire and ability to work directly with clients a plus.
