Statistical Data Analyst II - Early Warning Services (Scottsdale, AZ)
Overall Purpose
This position supports Data Analytic initiatives through the performance of data loading, data preparation and data cleansing and by providing basic data analysis and ad hoc reporting as requested.
Essential Functions
- Extracts, transforms and loads (ETL) datasets from various sources and formats.
- Responsible for formatting, manipulating and transforming data in preparation for analysis and modeling.
- Produces standard and ad hoc reports.
- Monitors performance of production models and prepares related reporting and performance metrics.
- Assists more senior analysts as requested in model development tasks such as data preparation, variable creation, and statistical measures for model development.
- Responsible for a variety of exploratory data analysis (EDA) tasks
- Completes analyses related to customer value testing.
- Complies with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained.
- Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; Advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3+ years data analytics work experience or similar position.
- A minimum of 2+ years work related experience in SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS STAT, and SAS Macro).
- Data manipulation and data step programming experience required.
- Ability to effectively communicate results non-technical
- Ability to effectively communicate findings from complex analyses to non-technical audiences.
- Approved background and drug screen is required.
