Sr. SAS Developer/ Analyst (Dublin, OH)

We are currently recruiting for a Sr. SAS Developer/ Analyst in our Dublin, Ohio location.

Job Purpose

Support projects through SAS programming, data modeling and data analysis. Position is in a newly created Predictive Analytics team and projects could include forecasting for finance budgets, transaction modeling, risk modeling, and fraud modeling.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and build datasets according to project specifications.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to answer specific research questions.
  • Prepare written results in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint for presentation to analysts and leadership.
  • Assist analysts with advanced SAS and statistics questions.
  • Develop and mentor associates through informal statistical modules to build competency within division.
Job Requirements

Education Required

Bachelor's degree required (or higher) with concentration in computer science, economic, mathematics or other analytical field.

Experience Required

  • 4 -6 years of experience in SAS programming and advanced analytics
  • Experience in the financial industry specifically in their Operations functions (Desired but not required)
Skills and Knowledge Required
  • Statistical modeling and data analysis using SAS, especially regression and time series analysis with PROC REG and PROC UCM.
  • SAS certification highly desired
  • strong SAS V9 including macros and statistical procs (2+ years)
  • building complex datasets with millions of rows
  • SQL programming including Oracle and DB2
  • SAS Enterprise Guide
  • Strong Microsoft skills (including Excel, Word, Visio, Project, PowerPoint)
  • Skilled at navigating relational databases
  • Data mart table structure and data load processes
  • Programming experience in one or more of C, C++, Java, JMP or Visual Basic is desired but not required
  • Six sigma training (desired but not required)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with and through others, a team player.
