SAS Programmer, Contract (Switzerland)

Our client, a global giant in the pharmaceutical world, is known as a leading name in the discovery, development and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products which cure diseases, ease suffering and enhance the quality of life. They are seeking a SAS Programmer in a contract position for 6 months in Switzerland.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES include:

• Programming according to specifications, analysis datasets, listings, tables and figures for phase 3 studies including DMCs and providing support for SCS/SCE.
• Supporting quality control and quality audit of deliverables.
• Developing and complying with project/study programming standards and specifications following internal guidelines.
• Providing input into study protocol, CFR and data structure.
• Providing input as required at all meetings, discussions and activities covering aspects of statistical reporting on trial level activities.
• Supporting senior members of statistical reporting and programme/trial statisticians in maintaining efficient interfaces with internal and external customers

TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Experience using SAS in the analysis and the reporting of pharmaceutical data
• Working knowledge of database design/structures
• Expertise with SAS (including SAS macro language)

PERSONAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

• Good team player.
• Good organizational skills.
• Continuous improvement mentality and attention to detail.
• Fluent English (oral and written).
